ITINERARY (For reference only and is subject to any necessary changes in accordance to local requirements)

DAY 1 ARRIVAL / KUCHING / KUCHING CITY TOUR & RIVER CRUISE

Arrive at Kuching Airport, meet & great then transfer to selected hotel for check in and free at own leisure. 1400hrs, proceed for a city tour of Kuching, a quaint and lovely city, it was the Capital of the personal Kingdom of Sir James Brooke, better know as the White Rajah. There are many historical buildings in the city including the Square and Round Towers, the colonial Courthouse, General Post Office, Fort Magherita and the Astana. Visit the Cat Monument, City Hall, the Tua Pek Kong - oldest Chinese Temple in the city and the famed Sarawak Museum reputed to house the best ethnographies collections in Southeast Asia. Drive through quaint Malay kampungs (villages), explore the centre of the city passing through the colourful India Street and traditional shophouses. Thereafter, transfer to jetty to experience a boat cruise on the Sarawak River. This offers you a panoramic view of Kuching. See many historical buildings and beautiful land marks such as Fort Margherita, Astana, State Mosque, Malay traditional houses and many riverine boats. The most fascinating is the great contrasts on both sides of the river from progress on one side of the river from progress on one side to theidyllic village life style on the other. Actual cruise takes about 1 1/2 hours then return to jetty for your transfer back to hotel and overnight.

DAY 2 SARAWAK CULTURAL VILLAGE - SEMENGGOH URANG UTAN - POTTERY (BREAKFAST)
0900hrs, meet and depart from hotel for "See Sarawak in half day" is the claim made by the Sarawak Cultural Village, a unique award-winning living museum offering an excellent introduction to local cultures and lifestyles. It is located at the foothill of the legendary Mount Santubong, fronting South China Sea. The village also called the "Living Museum" because people live in their houses and create their handicraft and traditional snacks. The village has 07 representative ethnic houses - Bidayuh Longhouse, Iban Longhouse, Penan Hut, Orang Ulu Longhouse, Melanau Tall House, Malay House and Chinese Farm House. Observe the lifestyle, arts, craft, games, foods, clothes and music of 07 major cultural of Sarawak. Enjoy yourselves with a fascinating performance of the multi-culture dance in village's theatre. There is also a good restaurant and handicraft shop on-site. After tour, return to town and drop off at hotel. 1400hrs, depart from hotel for a visit to the Semenggoh Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. The entire facility occupies and area of 74 acres, the only remaining green belt near to the city offering a sanctuary for Orang Utans. The centre is temporary homes for displaced Orang Utans also known as "Men in the jungle". They have been rescued from captivity or are young orphans and are trained or retrained to survive in their natural surroundings. Take a walk on the trails and try to spot semi-wild Orang Utans. There are feeding times scheduled every day at the feeding platform.On returning to the city, stop for a visit to a pottery for a close up look at nimble hands fashioning works art. Watch the potter at his wheel and see what happens when pieces of clay is baked and then painted, This is also a good place to pick up souvenirs as a keepsake of your trip. Drop off at hotel and overnight. 

DAY 3 BAKO NATIONAL PARK (Breakfast / Lunch)

0830hrs, depart from hotel to the oldest National Park, which offers the perfect introduction to the Sarawak forest & wildlife. The park is located at the northern tip of Muara Tebas Peninsula. It can be reached by a half hour drive by coach & another 30 minute by boat. The park has an area of 16 sq.km of primary forest with an abundance of botanical treasurers made up of 25 types of vegetation. Amongst this plant life is the carnivorous pitcher plant. Bako's mangrove forest is home to the Proboscis Monkey, found only in Borneo. Other species found here are the Long Tailed Macaques, Silver Leaf Monkeys, Monitor Lizards, and Bearded Pigs. There are a number of trails exploring the park with a several indented sandy bays providing excellent swimming grounds. Lunch at the park canteen. Thereafter, return to Kuching and drop off at hotel. Free at own leisure and overnight. 

DAY 4 : KUCHING / DEPARTURE (Breakfast)
After breakfast, free at own leisure until transfer to Kuching Airport for flight back home.
